Contribution for Group Project

My contribution for the group project on Post-Coloniality/Ethnic Identity was focused mainly on the Post-Coloniality part of it. I produced the information about Orientalism and Post-Coloniality through not-so-academic sources such as Wikipedia.com. I used Wikipedia as source of information to spark conversation on that literary theory. The information about Orientalism and Edward Said was gained through both Wikipedia and his own personal website (www.edwardsaid.org). I chose to use the video montage with the America Fu*k Yeah song from the film Team America to give an idea of how the West’s view of being superior to other cultures and to show how colonialism and the views of the West remain relatively unchanged today.
